The Possible School
A message from Dr Daniel Peters, Superintendent
Life Changing Education at Christ the King School
Christ the King School has been educating students since 1945. We are proud to be a strong anchor in the Waldo neighborhood of South Kansas City. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and diverse community where children are nurtured in their spiritual, moral, academic and physical growth through personalized instruction and discovery. Parents entrust their children to Christ the King School because they are assured of a strong, faith-based curriculum delivered in a caring atmosphere. There’s something uniquely special about Christ the King – something not easily put into words. It’s the spirit and enthusiasm our families bring to the community.
Christ the King School is fully accredited by Missouri Non-Public and also by AdvancED Accrediting Systems. We provide academic excellence with guidance from the Holy Spirit as we strive to create a Christ-filled environment. Christ the King teachers care very much about their student’s individual needs and successes. They take the time to develop relationships in order to help each child reach their potential. Christ the King School offers small classes, extra study time, tutoring and enrichment. Christ the King School has a proven record of academic success. The Class of 2011 had an average score of FIVE years above their grade level equivalency on their composite scores for the ITBS test.
Christ the King students have a variety of opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as scouts, sports, Spanish, science club, service projects, drama, choir and student council. Parental involvement is prevalent and welcome in our school.
Here at Christ the King we provide “Life Changing Education.” The lessons learned here both in and out of the classroom change lives.
We welcome you to come and see what a difference our school makes. We will tour you around the campus, answer your questions and introduce you to the Christ the King family. Your children are welcome to come and shadow another student for a full day. Please contact the school office at 816-363-1113.
